Identification:
Pink to white body, with silvery sheen on breast and side of head.
Red stripes on lower half of the body, and "checker-board" pattern on the upper half.
A large black spot at the root of the tail.

Temperature range:
25 - 30 Celsius (77 - 86 Fahrenheit).

Typical location:
Around both inshore and offshore coral reefs.

Fishing methods:
Baitfishing with dead squid or fish.

Fighting characteristics:
A typical snapper, that never gives up.
